Are You Sure You Want To Block _________ ?

[ I owe the concept of this post to my Husband, Shashaank :) ]

I seriously feel that a day would come, when the list of blocked users would trump our friend lists!!

Today's blog post is majorly humorous in nature. However, there is no denying the fact that
sometimes water gets over the head for few and it is terrible. Like the much talked about 'Prerna Pratham Singh Case' in the recent times, about cyber bullying. Also, Facebook stalking has resulted in a lot of criminal activities as well. I wonder why doesn't Fb, for a change; stops minting money and takes an action on that!?
People send abusive messages : using foul language for the other and even going ahead and abuse their mothers!? People make fake accounts of girls, their ex's, of those whom they have an issue with , and post appalling stuff on that account. I mean why? Why?
If you indulge in character assassination, it just reflects your mentality and questions your upbringing.
As far as I am concerned, I feel you need medical help, bro. You not sane!

I don't get the point! Facebook is a social networking website, meant to keep in touch with friends and family! It is not an online dating site. PERIOD.
If you want a girlfriend and are too dumb to make one in the real world , in the normal way.. then make an account on match.com, lovestruck.com, mingle2, cupid, metrodate or whichever! Please don't make a fool of yourselves by approaching girls on Facebook.

Now, let's come to the humour part! :D
These are screenshots of the weirdest / awkward / silly / funny / cheesy / disgusting / outrageous messages I received. I have tried to be at my funniest best! Hope you have a smile on your face! and, also connect with this post. :)

We went to an All Girls School and we turned out to be perfectly normal !

There has always been a battle between two groups, when we were in school. No, it’s not what you think.  I am not referring to Science vs. Commerce or Blue House vs. Green House. I am talking about the students who study at the All Girls/ All Boys School vs. those who studied in a  Co-Ed school. The other battles that I listed above, come to a standstill once we are out of the boundaries of the school. This battle however, gets meaner as we grow in age. Simply because, we all judge the other with our own set of thinking. I am a product of an All Girls School and I turned out to be perfectly normal. And, so have all the other girls I know of. We have often always been told, ‘ You are very different to what we thought you would be like’ or, ‘All girls school pass outs are weird : You however, are an exception’ . Duh! You are all products of your caged brains, who can’t think beyond the bars of that nasty little thing they live in. The problem today lies with...

Happiness Comes In All Shapes, Sizes And Colours.

How do we define happiness? It holds a different and a unique meaning for every individual. There are no heavy words, no deep meaning attached to it. True happiness is in the small things that we do everyday. The little joys of life, as we call them. To some happiness is eating their favourite snack. To some happiness is going for a long drive, for others it may be in reading a novel, while some may be happy in just lazying around in their beds. We must never give the key of our happiness in the hands of the other, even if the other is a very close loved one or a person whom we do not know. Everyone has the right to be happy. It is what we live for everyday! When I say, 'happiness comes in all shapes and sizes' what thoughts come to your head? Tall-Short-Light-Heavy-boxes of different colors. Yes, that is exactly what i am writing about today. Aren't  we all just like those boxes? Some of us are Tall , some are short , some have a big built while others are o...

Why is Gender Sensitization the need of the hour?

Feminist is something I'm not. I believe in equality of all sexes. But when it comes to speaking on an issue as henious as Rape, I as hell become a feminist! I think everyone must be a feminist when it comes to a crime such as Rape. India will soon become the rape capital of the world. Such a sad state of affair for a country which 'worships Goddesses', a country which is refered to as 'Bharat Maa', a country which celebrates 'Raksha Bandhan' where men make promise to protect their sisters, they break this very promise when it comes to respecting another person's sister? Rape them, burn them, beat them, kill them in the womb, kill them in the name of honour. Is that the status women are reduced to? We need both men and women to be sensitive towards all three genders - Men, Women and those who don't have a gender. We in today's time don't just need Gender Equality. We need Gender Sensitization. I have been discussing with childre...
